C—02 / Delivery method

A controlled route from project brief to site handover.

The method connects decisions that are often treated separately: layout, production release, inspection, packing, freight and installation support.

Five working stages

How the project moves.

01

Define the operating brief

Headcount, room schedule, site conditions, local requirements, target programme and delivery responsibilities are recorded before layout development.

Typical deliverable: Operating brief and responsibility matrix

02

Coordinate layout and interfaces

Module planning, circulation, services, loose items and site interfaces are reviewed so production can be released against an agreed scope.

Typical deliverable: Coordinated layout and interface schedule

03

Plan production and inspection

The manufacturing sequence, approval points and required photo or document records are aligned with the project programme.

Typical deliverable: Production plan and inspection checklist

04

Pack, identify and document

Modules and components are protected, labelled and matched to packing information for a more controlled handover at destination.

Typical deliverable: Module register, identification plan and packing list

05

Coordinate delivery and site support

Shipping, receipt, lifting and installation responsibilities are clarified before dispatch, with remote or on-site support defined in the project scope.

Typical deliverable: Delivery and installation responsibility plan

Factory to destination

Packing and logistics are part of the building system.

Packing protection, module identification, loading order and shipping documents are coordinated against the confirmed route and destination handling plan. Unloading, lifting, installation and site support remain subject to the agreed project scope.

Before dispatch

Make every handover explicit.

  • Approved drawings and scope schedule
  • Packing list and module identification
  • Shipping and site-access constraints
  • Lifting, installation and commissioning responsibilities

Plan the sequence

Share the site and delivery constraints early.

PROJECT ENQUIRY

Let’s frame the project.

A useful first brief is short. Bring the four facts that let our project team route the enquiry correctly.

  1. 01Project locationCountry, site access and climate
  2. 02Intended useAccommodation, offices or support spaces
  3. 03Approximate capacityPeople, rooms, modules or floor area
  4. 04Target timingRequired delivery or opening date
